WILTON, CT — Wilton residents will head to the polls on Nov. 2 to cast votes for the municipal election. Positions on the Board of Selectmen, Board of Finance and more are all up for grabs. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 2. Voters who are in line before 8 p.m. will be able to vote even after the deadline passes. You can find your poll location at the Secretary of the State website by inputting your information. You can request an absentee ballot here or you can visit your town clerk's office. All voters are eligible to check the top box that lists "COVID-19" as a reason for requesting an absentee ballot. Wilton residents may choose two candidates from Democrats Bas Nabulsi and Keith Denning, and Republican Kim Healy, for seats on the Board of Selectmen. Four candidates are vying for three full-term seats on the Board of Finance. Voters will choose from among Republicans Stewart Koenigsberg, Matt Raimondi and Monty Du; and Democrat Sandra Arkell. Republican Rich Santosky and Democrat Frank Bria are competing for a two-year term on the BoF. Voters may choose up to three candidates for the Board of Education. The Democrats are fielding Nicola Davies, Deborah Low and Pam Ely. The Republicans have selected Jared Martin and Jess Christ as their candidates. Return to Patch for results as they come in. It's a lock for all Wilton's Planning and Zoning Commission candidates. Voters may choose five from a field of five: Democrats Eric Fanwick and Ken Hoffman; and Republicans Christopher Pagliaro, Jill Warren and Chris Wilson. Democrats Jaclyn Coleman and Tom Gunther are vying with Republican Justin Anderson for two seats on the Zoning Board of Appeals. Republican Tara Pagano is the only candidate running to be a Zoning Board of Appeals alternate. Six candidates — Democrats Bo Mitchell, Ernie Ricco and Dick Ziegler; and Republicans Lianne Griswold Acosta-Rua, Lisa Pojano and Peter Wrampe — are competing for three constable positions. Connecticut offers Election Day registration, but those who arrive need to be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote. Unlike previously registered voters, standing in line before 8 p.m. to registrar won't guarantee the ability to vote.
