1-Day Handgun Skills Builder. This course will be a day on the range. No classroom. 1- Day Handgun Skill Builder Prerequisite Class(s): Prior to attending this course you must have attended and completed a Basic Pistol Handgun course within the last 12 months.This course is in an intensified format that will continue to improve your shooting ability and heighten your skills. An excellent course if you are looking to tune up your skills. The entire course is spent on the range, as this course has no lecture material. Emphasis is placed on fine tuning your gun handling and greatly improving your speed and accuracy. You can expect to drastically reduce the time it takes to present and fire a controlled pair of shots or single, precision shots. All training builds to a skills evaluation done from a concealed holster under time pressure. Firing Range Drills Include: Loading and Unloading; Grip, Stance, Sight Picture, Sight Alignment, and Trigger Control; Presentation from Ready and Holster; Target Engagement from Arms Length to 15 yards under Time Pressure; one-handed stances, Malfunction Clearing; Speed and Tactical Reloading. This course is in an intensified format that will continue to improve your shooting ability and heighten your skills. 300 rounds of ammunition required.
