Description
SAN MATEO, CA —Power was restored to over 1,500 residents in San Mateo Tuesday morning after a live electrical wire went down at the intersection of Hacienda Street and 37th Avenue.
The outage appeared to include the San Mateo Medical Center, according to PG&E's outage map.
Nearby residents were asked to shelter-in-place, but police cleared the scene around 10 a.m.
PG&E's outage map indicated the power went out around 9:23 a.m., and that cause was weather-related.
