Dental Receptionist / Clinical Assistant A Family dental practice located in Mokena, IL is seeking a professional Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist/Clinical Assistant. The candidate is responsible for a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to aide in the effective functioning of our dental office. We require that the candidate would have a background in the dental field. This individual would be responsible for working with patients as they present to schedule appointments, verifying insurance benefits, managing accounts, assisting with clinical duties, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service with clients. The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational skills. Job Requirements Work 30 + hours Previous work in the dental field Manage, confirm, and schedule appointments for optimum patient flow Respond to patient, clinical, and operational concerns timely and effectively Assist with clinical duties: procedure setups, x-rays, impressions, sterilize, and disinfect instruments Communicate with patients, doctors, and insurance companiesAdministrative tasks Present financial options for patient treatment plans Answer phone, manage incoming patient inquiries, verify patient insurances, ensure co-pays and outstanding balances are collected Ordering supplies Pay Pay will be based on experience About Us For more than 25 years, Dr. Thomas Maloney and his team have provided gentle, comfortable dental solutions in a welcoming, supportive environment.
