STILLWATER, MN — The state of Minnesota has granted Stillwater Area Public Schools more than $456,000 to fund a coronavirus testing program during the 2021-22 academic year. The funds are part of the state's efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19 and ensure in-person learning can continue amid the ongoing pandemic. Minnesota's $55 million school testing program is supported by the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Stillwater Area High School, St. Croix Catholic and Wildwood Elementarywere included on the state's list. Rapid Coronavirus Testing Site Opens In Stillwater The COVID-19 data dashboard for the Stillwater Area School District shows there have been 35 total coronavirus cases at Stillwater Area High School since the start of the 2021-22 school year. The high school has about 2,760 students, according to Public School Review.
