Grand Opening Planned At Centennial Playground

LEMONT, IL — A grand opening will be held for the Lemont Junior Woman's Club Centennial playground at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Costumes are welcome at the park opening, according to the park district. There will also be a DJ, and a ribbon cutting ceremony. Renovations on the park began in June, and the new playground is ADA accessible, has new play pieces for various ages, and has poured-in-place rubber surface and synthetic turf play surface.
