EAGAN, MN — October is drawing to a close, and that means Election Day is nearly upon us. Eagan residents will be voting on school board members this year.
Eagan falls into three potential school districts: 196(Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan), 191(Burnsville-Eagan-Savage) and 197(West St. Paul-Mendota Heights-Eagan). Each of these districts are holding school board elections Nov. 2, although 191 is holding a special election to replace a board member who resigned Oct. 2021.
Polls will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 2.
Patch is working on creating voting guides for each of the three districts.
Early in-person voting began Tuesday in Eagan.
For early voting, visit the district office, located at 3455 153rd Street West in Rosemount, or the County Administration Center on Highway 55 in Hastings from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. with extended hours until 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
You can drop off your mail-in ballot until 3 p.m. on Nov. 2.
You can drop off your mail-in ballot in the week leading up to the election at the school district office at 3455 153rd Street West, Rosemount, Dakota County's Administration Center in Hastings or the Western Service Center at 14955 Galaxie Avenue in Apple Valley.
