Press release from the University of Toledo: 2021-10-26 The University Libraries Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee is sponsoring an Anti-Racist Pedagogy Lecture Series featuring UToledo faculty through fall semester via Webex. "The University Libraries whole-heartedly supports the University's efforts to increase diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility for students, faculty, staff and the broader community through event programming, collection development and public services," said Arjun Sabharwal, digital initiatives librarian, associate professor, inclusion officer and committee chair of the Libraries DEI Committee. "For this presentation series on Anti-Racist Pedagogy, the University Libraries has invited UToledo faculty to share their research and thoughts on the topic with future events spanning a broad range of diversity-related topics." •  Wednesday, Oct. 27, Dr. Randy Meyer, who holds a Ph.D. and a J.D. from The University of Toledo, will present the 3 p.m. lecture "Learning-Centered, Co-Creative, Student-Voice Pedagogy as a Pathway to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Postsecondary Learning"; •  Wednesday, Nov. 17, Dr. Dale Snauwaert, professor of social and philosophical foundations of education and peace studies, will present the 2 p.m. lecture "Pedagogy of Reflective Inquiry: Racial Inequity, Racist Policy and Anti-Racist Teaching"; and •  Thursday, Dec. 9, Dr. Jason Cox, assistant professor of art education and the head of the art education program at The University of Toledo, will present the 10:30 a.m. lecture "Crap, My Curriculum is Racist!
