Press release from the City of Strongsville: Strongsville Police will participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Oct. 23. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., officers will be in front of the police station (on Westwood Drive) to collect medications no longer needed by residents, including pills, liquids, patches and syringes. Take Back Day is a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs, so they don't end up in the wrong hands or polluting waterways.
