Brock, the Founder & Owner of Happy Helpers Moving Co, established this company with the vision of uniting veterans to overcome their shared adversity. However, if we wish to be maximally effective in this endeavor, the companies focus cannot be uniting veterans. Our primary objective must be sighted in on the experience and quality of service which we provide to our citizens. Therefore, we must selflessly sacrifice our desire to serve those who have served us, and make the companies primary mission, “To Provide The Happiest & Most Professional Moving Services In The Industry”. We accomplish this mission by employing veterans, allowing us to harness the values, morals, and ethics associated with the United States Military. In making this our mission, we effectively optimize our rate of growth, allowing us to extend a farther reach at a faster rate to all veterans across the United States. Most citizens know and respect the sacrifice of our service members, but few ever feel called to sign their name on the that dotted line. From personal experience, we recognize that many veterans experience difficulties integrating back into civilian life. The unique challenges veterans face can leave them feeling alone, misunderstood, and in a state of depression & anxiety. These effects caused by the loss of brotherhood and a newfound lack of purpose is a common occurrence with many veterans after their service to their country. Statistics from the VA show that an increased engagement between veterans in their working environment is directly proportional to both workplace satisfaction and career longevity. Unlike civilians, many veterans face significant physical and psychological challenges due to the nature of their military service. Challenges that no veteran should have to combat alone. For this reason, I decided that Happy Helpers Moving Co will be no less than 90% Veteran Operated. In doing so, we provide a career opportunity for veterans to ensure that, “No Soldier Gets Left Behind”. As Happy Helpers Moving Co expands to an unprecedented number of locations across the nation, we aim to have a direct impact on the increasing number of veteran suicide cases and improving the quality of life of our fellow veterans. We will achieve this by creating a work environment that facilitates veterans working alongside other veterans who understand and can directly relate to the physical and psychological challenges resulting from service to their country. By creating this structure, we provide veterans an opportunity to have a smoother transition back to civilian life after their service. HEALTH & FITNESS All Happy Helpers Moving Co locations have a Rogue Fitness Facility to ensure that our team has the necessary tools to train our bodies to perform at optimal levels. The goal of this is to encourage our team members to lead healthy and successful lifestyles. The fitness facility provides a space for our team to workout together, push each other to achieve personal health & fitness goals, and further develop our brotherhood. By training together, working together, and serving together, we effectively increase our ability to operate as one cohesive unit in constant pursuit of our mission to provide the Happiest & Most Professional Moving Services in the industry. CLUB HOUSE At Happy Helpers Moving Co, you’re not just an employee, you’re a part of a team, and a part of the Happy Helpers Family. In order to facilitate spending time with our family, a section of the warehouse is dedicated as the Club House. Veterans have learned to laugh through the pain, usually with a sense of humor a bit darker than the average Joe. The Club House provides a space where veterans can get together to crack jokes, laugh hard, and share stories about the good times, the hard times, and all the times in between. COMPENSATION Moving Specialist • Little To No Professional Moving Experience • No Driving Record Requirements • No Age Requirements • Veteran – Hourly Compensation: $13-$15 • Tips Moving Expert • 2+ Years Professional Moving Experience • Clean Driving Record • Age 26+ • Veteran – Hourly Compensation: $16-$18 • Tips If hired, you will begin a probationary period lasting a minimum of four weeks and a maximum of eight weeks. Over this time, you will be evaluated by the team and leadership to determine if you possess the required skills, qualities, and characteristics to effectively perform your position. The probationary period provides you the opportunity to get to know the other team members, understand the way that we operate, and figure out if you’ve got what it takes to be a contributing member of the Happy Helpers Family as we continue on our path to dominate this industry.
