Press release from the Dayton Metro Library: Christy Lynne Trotter, Content Writer October 18, 2021 The Dayton Metro Library will be hosting a Military Artifacts exhibit Monday, October 18 through Thursday, November 18 at the Wilmington-Stroop Branch Library. The exhibit is courtesy of the American Veterans Heritage Center (AVHC). Artifacts on display include: military uniforms and clothing, a flak jacket and helmets; a field radio, canteen, and web belt; a V-Mail display from World War II; a POW/MIA banner; a space shuttle tile from an early Challenger mission; and magazines from World War II, along with assorted books about different military events (some of which are from local authors).
