BOLINGBROOK, IL — Panda Play School, a full-service daycare, recently opened in Bolingbrook. According to the business, which is located at 590 North Pinecrest Road, the daycare offers a preschool curriculum that aligns with Valley View School District, which helps ensure a smooth transition to kindergarten. The business said it underwent a full floor-to-ceiling renovation and opened at the end of September for babies 6 weeks of age until kindergarten. "Despite the pandemic, we have been able to recruit an awesome team of teachers that are ready to nurture, develop and educate," the business said. "Each classroom is uniquely designed specifically for the intended age group. For instance, our infant room has a ceiling fan installed in the sleeping area which is proven to reduce the risk of SIDS by 72 percent." The daycare also offers two age appropriate playgrounds and an indoor gym for days when the playgrounds can't be used. Two home-made meals and two snacks are also served each day, using organic fruits and vegetables. The daycare said it also has several safety measures, including intruder locks on classroom doors, and security cameras that monitor the classrooms and playground. "Cleaning is also top-notch here, as highly touched surfaces are steam cleaned regularly," the daycare said.
