Press release from the Guilford County Government: 10/26/2021 The Guilford County Division of Public Health (GCDPH) is currently offering Moderna and Pfizer COVID- 19 vaccine booster doses at all GCDPH community, mobile and Health Department locations to eligible community members. Eligible community members for a Moderna and Pfizer booster dose include individuals who were fully vaccinated with the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine more than six months ago who: Are aged 65 years or older Are aged 18 years or older who: Live or work in a nursing home or long-term care residential facility Live or work in a congregate living facility (homeless shelters, correctional facilities, dormitories, etc.) Have a medical condition that puts you at high risk for severe illness Work in a high-risk profession (health care workers, first responders, teachers, etc.) Eligible community members for a Johnson & Johnson booster dose include individuals aged 18 years and older, who meet the criteria above and who were fully vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than 2 months ago. Please note that the GCDPH does not currently have any Johnson & Johnson vaccine in inventory but an order has been placed. Additionally, individuals are now able to receive any brand of COVID-19 vaccine for their booster dose. Please speak with your primary care physician, nurse or pharmacist for guidance on what booster is right for you. Moderna and Pfizer booster doses are available by appointment only and may be scheduled: Online at www.GuilfordVaccination.com By Phone at 336-641-7944.
