Press release from the Grosse Pointe Public Library: October 1, 2021 Woods & Central Branches to be Improved At a special board meeting on September 30, 2021 the Grosse Pointe Public Library Board voted unanimously to proceed with Phase 2 of the Library Reimagined Plans. Phase 2 will include a refresh of all interior finishes at the Woods branch including a state-of-the-art makerspace and improvements to the outdoor courtyard. At Central, there will be a small addition to the building which will expand the children's space, add an elevator to the second floor, an additional program space, and expanded, accessible restrooms.
