Guitarist looking to jam

What’s up, I’m 25, been playing guitar for 11 years, and I just moved to Southern California. I’m looking to jam with some people, mostly heavy metal, thrash metal type stuff. I’m into Metallica, A7X, atreyu, trivium, BFMV, ADTR, Volbeat, August burns red, slipknot, etc. But I’m also really into some calmer stuff like City and Colour, iron and wine, the paper kites, black keys, Jacob Banks. And over quarantine I’ve gotten into electronic stuff like daft punk and Rufus Du sol. So I wouldn’t mind experimenting to make some awesome sounds. All that to say, my passion is heavy metal. But I keep my mind open and explore a variety of music. I’ve got a couple guitars, a bass, and an amp with 2x12 speaker. I don’t have a ton of experience playing live, but I’d love do more of that. We could do some covers and bounce off some riff ideas. If we could put together some originals, that would be awesome. I’m no guitar virtuoso, but I can hold my own. But it’s been hard finding people who can keep up with the harmony solos and fast rhythm. Let me know if this sounds good to you, and we can get together for a jam session.
