Drummers and percussionists needed for Austin's community brass band, Blowcomotion! Blowcomotion is a community band composed of musicians of all skill levels and we’re open to any and all who want to join us! We’ve played shows all over the city and we’re always looking for new members. If you have an instrument, that’s great! If not, we can loan you one. We have a growing library of instruments on offer for new band members. We don’t want cost to be a barrier to joining the band--Blowcomotion is for everyone! The instrument you select is yours to borrow for as long as you choose to play with the band. Blowcomotion practices weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7pm. Currently, we're meeting at Shipe Park in Hyde Park. Each section (low brass, trumpets, saxes, and percussion) has a skilled, professional teacher who will help you learn or refresh your skills on your instrument. Interested?
