Shepherds United Ministries (SUM)need a volunteer who's interested in the welfare of children and can identify with our mission to provide basic needs to orphans and children living in poverty in Africa and America. SUM is currently working to assist orphans in Uganda where they are alarmingly abandoned and/or without parents or relatives. The village we are currently providing aid to is in Jinja, Uganda. We have provided new mattresses, nets, blankets, clothes, shoes,and food, but just as important, SUM has shown them that People Do Care. They have beautiful smiles on their faces and are now full of hope.
