Yamaha MOXF6 owner (me, I) has installed "seamless, integrated interface" of Yamaha MOXF6 (workstation-grade kybd.) to computer (Cubase), numerous times since 2016, carefully following Yamaha and Steinberg (Cubase) how-to tutorials step-by-step, only to be faced with two machines REFUSING to actually operate together, contrary to what's indicated in the tutorials, and contrary to remotely located, exasperated tech support personnel from both companies, confounded that implementing their explicit instructions does not cause the system to work as designed, and indeed yet, not at all. Every "professional" I've contacted has eventually abandoned me, because everything done and every step instructed, for the last 5 years, that should result in actual operation of the system, has yet to result in it, and I'm about to chew nails. It's like living in the Twilight Zone, and I am truly exasperated! I need someone local, who has successfully connected their Yamaha MOXF6/8, or similar Yamaha workstation-grade keyboard, to their computer (Cubase DAW), to personally supervise the proper connection of my Yamaha MOXF6 keyboard to my computer (Windows 10, all components and operating requirements verified), either over the phone and/or in person, so that the "seamless, integrated interface" actually operates. Regardless of the outcome, I will of course, pay you professionally for your time and experience. Please, if you are serious about helping me, contact me (Steve) at (reply box, above) afternoons or evenings. I am not looking to change DAWs, as the whole realm is beyond my experience. I simply need someone with prior exp. connecting those 2 components successfully, to supervise the process. A phone call, so that we don't have to type-and-wait, back and forth indefinitely, would be best. Thank you. Please see screenshots as well. Image 1 (setup) is properly set, and the OK button at the bottom, clicked. Yet the yellow writing at the top, insists that the input ports are not properly set. Image 2, (data sync) needs to be set to "receive," yet the buttons at the bottom needing to be clicked on, refuse to be clicked on, and the yellow writing insists a connection has not been established. Image 3 (VSTI setup), needs MOXF6 to be selected for the 4 audio return ports, yet refuses to include it in the available selection. Totally confounding! Image 4, shows the MIDI file (in red) successfully dragged into a single Cubase track. That is as far as the "seamless, integrated interface" is willing to go. I am trying to print audio from the MIDI (sequencer) file, with the Cubase, explicitly following the Yamaha tutorial expressly delineating exactly how to, and yet the stated occurrences in it, refuse to happen, after that point. I'm tired of being shunned by Yamaha and Steinberg tech support. Please help. I am truly at my wit's end.
