Harbor Island West Marina is seeking full time marina maintenance workers. We are a 620-slip marina located in downtown San Diego. 1-3 years previous experience desired preferable but not necessary; basic pluming, electrical, concrete repair. Maintenance staff perform a wide variety of maintenance, repair, grounds keeping and other interior and exterior maintenance duties for the marina. Duties on the property include, but are not limited to – • Cleaning Restrooms • Removal of trash from receptacles throughout the property, including docks, and disposing it into trash compactor • General plumbing repair in restrooms and on the docks • Painting around the property as needed • Carpentry skills including rough framing to finish work • Electrical repairs in the buildings and 110/220 dock service • Concrete dock repairs including replacement of damaged floats, tripping hazards, cracked or chipped areas, triangle replacements and listing fingers • Work with the marina office to respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from slip renters • Additional duties as assigned Pay commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holiday pay, sick pay and 401K. Schedule is 8am – 5pm, weekend work required.
