McKuin Pipeline Inc. is looking for experienced Operators/Locators for Directional Bore crews, General Laborers, Equipment Operators, Truck Drivers, Telco Linemen, Tree Trimming Crews, Rodding Crews, Flaggers, and Office Support. Active CDL preferred. Must have basic operating experience with heavy equipment. Candidate must be capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. All positions will have to perform general labor work on top of their responsibilities & duties. This is not for Oil or Water Well Drilling Responsibilities & Duties. McKuin Pipeline Inc. is a dry utility installer, and we are non-union. Fluent English is required for the safe and effective performance of all positions and the successful operation of the business. All positions must take instructions for daily tasks from the Supervisor and follow safety rules and practices. Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and driving. Overnight travel may be required. Directional Bore crews must have the ability to operate safely around utilities, prior experience operating and hauling directional bore machines and equipment, utility potholing with vacuum excavator or hand digging to locate facilities, excavate bore pits, and trenches with excavator, removing asphalt and concrete. General Labor crews must have the ability to dig and trench around sensitive underground utilities such as power, gas, and cable. May use tools such as shovels, trenchers, jackhammers, brooms, rakes, etc., conduct traffic control as needed, set up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers, assist with site cleanup. Concrete experience is a plus. Telco Lineman must be able to safely operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derrick, excavators, and more, understanding of separation and clearance regulations, ability to safely work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders, ability to climb telephone poles, and work in a bucket truck, able to perform duties such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash and strand construction. Equipment Operators must have the ability to professionally operate various types of construction equipment such as excavators, mini excavators, backhoes, skid steers, etc. in a safe and efficient manner. Truck Drivers must have a valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions with a clean DMV record. Office Support must provide a wide range of clerical/operational support involving customer service, document preparation, filing and record-keeping, invoicing, and other regularly performed duties which support the function of an office operation. Flaggers must know how to operate 2-way radio, work well in a team environment, must be able to communicate with contractors, and relate specific customer/job changes, and other information to Supervisor, Project Manager, office staff, or other persons. Excellent attendance required. Vacuum Excavator Operators must be able to lift 90 lbs. and perform physical movements with operating heavy tools, equipment and digging test holes in soil, asphalt, and concrete and using a 90-pound jackhammer, extensive walking, and bending. Must have the ability to open manhole covers and or other structures of varying weights. Tree Trimmers must be able to use an aerial lift to trim and prune trees to provide clearance of streets, sidewalks, buildings, signs, and lights as well as to ensure the continued health of the tree, remove standing, and fallen trees, stumps, limbs, and related debris. Rodding crews must be able to rod, and rope occupied and vacant conduit, identify and repair blocked conduits, report findings and results to Supervisor. Pay is based on experience with per diem: Supervisor with Aerial or UG experience - $30 to $34/hr. UG Foreman with CDL - $30/hr. Operator with CDL - $28/hr. Laborer with concrete & AC - $25/hr. Laborer with rodding experience - $22/hr. Truck driver, Heavy Hall - $26/hr. Bore operator with CDL - $30/hr. Locator with CDL - $28/hr. Vacuum Excavation Operator with CDL - $26/hr. All Need to know 46 AT&T work: Lineman with CDL - $28 to $30/hr. Line Laborer - $22 to $24/hr. Tree Trimmer with CDL - $24 to $26/hr. Flagger - $22 to $24/hr. Office Support - $20 to $25/hr.
