Sports Officials Needed! The students and youth players in all sports will have games cancelled or rescheduled as Official's numbers fall in ALL sports. Please help us to continue providing certified officials for these games and to continue offering a platform for student-athletes to compete in. Training is provided, and in most cases, payments available within a couple days of contest, sometimes day of. Training consists of rules meetings, mechanics meetings, on-field/court opportunities, and one-on-one discussions for theories and other details that can help you advance to highest levels possible. There is a certification process through the state association and background checks required. Currently, vaccines are required to work within school districts. Non-scholastic events vary. If you are interested in helping in any particular sport, or a number of sports, please let me know and I will get you in touch with the appropriate group(s). Many groups will assist with the equipment costs or have some stuff to loan out if costs are prohibitive, please inquire if needed. Even if you already have a job, if you can be available and to a location by game time, this is a great way to earn some extra income and have it available for a family trip or that special gift.
