Description
We run one of NYC's best comedy clubs (don't take our word, that's what Time Out says) and we're looking to hire both servers and bartenders. We have shows most Saturdays and some Fridays - generally it works out to 4-6 shows/month. Typically the show goes from 8:30pm to 10pm, and you'll need to be there from 7pm til 1045pm including set up and breakdown. You'll usually walk out with at least $100 cash. Must have experience (not necessarily in a comedy club). Also, positive attitude (or ability to convincingly fake it) is a must: we're purveying laughs, so you have to make customers feel good otherwise they won't laugh and the comedians, already a desperately insecure bunch, will feel even worse about themselves. Per NYC regulations, vaccination is required for all staff (and customers).
