Description Job Description: This employee Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building. This position is for afternoon and evening shifts Requirements Job Requirements: Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail A positive attitude. Ability to remember and communicate information. Ability to follow and enforce safety rules. A flexible schedule; ability to work days and weekends. Professional demeanor in a public space. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general hand tools and cleaning equipment Prior work experience in a physically demanding field: janitorial, construction, agricultural Job Responsibilities: Operate vacuums and carpet cleaning equipment Clean and sanitize restrooms and public spaces Clean surfaces inside an art exhibit Operate pressure washers and carpet extractor Use a variety of cleaning products including bleach and mild chemicals. Maintain outdoor areas Education / Experience High School diploma or equivalent Must be 19 years of age Work Environment This job operates in a office environment as well as a museum type exhibit. This role routinely uses cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuums, and other cleaning tools. Employee may be required to lift up to 60 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Work Schedule Depending on employment status, employees may be scheduled to work upto 40 hours per week, weekends will be required, there will be 2 consecutive days off. Working holidays and weekends will be expected for this position. Travel Travel is not required for this position.
