HazMat/Environmental Clean-up company has immediate openings for full-time positions in the Austin and surrounding area. Position is for environmental waste clean-up on both outside and inside projects. Applicants. 24/7 Haz Mat response company. Standard hours are 8AM - 5PM Monday through Friday and non-standard hours (early mornings, late evenings, weekends, etc.) Must be flexible to work non-standard hours when needed. Mechanically inclined and ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator and able to obtain a satisfactory fit test for respirators. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background, driving, pre-hire/random drug screenings. This is an hourly position with a 90 day probationary period. Upon completion of probation, company benefits include personal/sick leave and holiday pay and paid life and medical insurances for employee. Optional insurances are offered for employee and family. Matching 401K is offered. Specific experience in haz mat clean-up is not necessary but a plus. Safety training will be provided and adherence to rules of safety will be mandatory. Pay will be based off of abilities and experience. Two years experience in the haz-mat field is desired. Ideal candidate will possess a current OSHA 40hour hazwoper and Confined Space Entry certifications. OSHA 40 is required but confined space can be trained. Submit resume for consideration.
