In this role, you'll perform a wide variety of general maintenance repairs and services for an assigned community. Maintenance Manager Responsibilities: -Oversees maintenance technician(s) and groundskeeper(s) and assists with directing work load and prioritization of work order requests. -Ensures all work orders are completed in a timely manner. -Repairs and completes upkeep of the apartment units. -Maintains inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property. -Assists with seasonal preventative maintenance and routine inspections as directed. -Carries an emergency pager on a rotational basis for potential resident emergency service calls. -Completes trash compaction and ensures grounds and property remain clean and free of debris. -Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Maintenance Manager Qualifications: -At least one year of maintenance supervision is required. -At least three years of maintenance service repair experience required. -Previous experience servicing and repairing items associated with carpentry, painting, plastering, heating and cooling, and minor electrical tasks is needed, OR High School degree or equivalent; vocational training and/or equivalent could be combined with amount of work experience. -Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with light carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance and installation or repair of window coverings. -Valid, unrestricted driver's license. -HVAC certification would be preferred but is not essential.
