STUDENT GUITAR LESSONS

Meets

Westford VT

Description

Former professional musician offering student guitar lessons from my home studio in Westford. I’ve been playing guitar since I was very young, initially learning with my Dad, who played constantly. In high school I studied music theory at every chance and sang in the Choir. By the 10th grade I was playing guitar and singing in a pop-punk band called Alchemy. We were relatively successful playing in night clubs all over the NJ area, recording a studio EP, and opening for acts including Catch 22, the Misfits, and Brand New. In college I joined a pop/rock band called the Ringer Soundtrack and switched primarily to playing synthesizers. We gigged extensively in the Providence area and spent months recording and exploring the audio engineering/mixing processes. After college I moved to Brooklyn NY and joined an indie rock band called Beat Radio who is still active to this day. We gigged extensively in NYC and my bass and synthesizer performances are featured on several of their vinyl releases. I would consider myself a knowledgeable guitar player, songwriter, and home producer/audio engineer. I offer a low-pressure, student-led learning environment with a focus on simplicity, fundamentals, and enjoying the process. I am looking forward to helping the next generation explore their talents and express themselves through their compositions, recordings, and performances! -Dan Bills Interested students (age 10+) reach out with your favorite music, level of experience, and what you’re hoping to learn!
