Highway Materials, Inc. is a producer of Construction Aggregates and Hot Mix Asphalt products in Eastern Pennsylvania, with nine locations to service our customers, from York County in the West to Northampton County in the North and Philadelphia County in the Southeast. Established in 1936, Highway Materials has been a leader in the construction materials supply industry for over 65 years. We produce asphalt paving materials and crushed stone that meet the specifications of AASHTO, PennDOT, NJDOT, and FAA. Additionally, we are distributors of Geotextiles and various specialty paving products. Highway Materials is capable of servicing the needs of its customers no matter how large or small. Currently we are recruiting for a Laborer to join our team at Plymouth Meeting Quarry. Responsibilities include: • Operate loader from start up to shut down in a safe and productive manner • Light to heavy mechanical maintenance to ensure constant production • Upkeep of plant Requirements include: • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment • Experience operating rubber tire loader preferred • Work overtime when required • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. • Valid/Clean Driver’s License • High School Diploma (or GED) This is a full time position with an excellent hourly rate plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k)).
