Bass player available. Age 45, been playing in various bands for about 20 years. Looking for something regular, organized, and stable. Ideally not too far from the Havertown (19083) area. I’m vaccinated. The main draw for me is the pure enjoyment of creating and recoding music. Also looking for the social and collaborative aspect of getting together with like-minded folks, which has been hard to come by over these pandemic months. Gigging is great, but for me that’s the icing, not the cake. My favorite kinds of music these days are modern funk (Motet, New Mastersounds), improvisational/instrumental rock (Phish, Goose), and structurally creative vocals-driven rock (Dr. Dog, Gomez). If your band has some originals, that’s excellent. But I’m also open to lots of other styles. No metal or country, but if you want to play classic rock covers, I can get on board.
