Anyone interested in starting an 80's New Wave Cover Band?

I'm a drummer looking to start an 80's New Wave Cover band. Nothing super serious, but maybe get together once a week and try to gig 6-10 times a year, to start. Not looking to play the techno, over produced dance stuff, but would like to keep it fairly danceable. Think bands like: The Alarm, U-2, Simple Minds, The Cars, The Police, Billy Idol/Gen-X, The Cult, The Cure, The Romantics, The Replacements, Gang Of Four, The Clash, The Smiths, Pretenders, APB, Modern English, etc. You should be getting the picture by now! I have a nice practice space. Let me know what instrument you play, if you sing (even a little), what night you can jam, and where you're driving from. Thanks for looking.
