Hey, I've been playing guitar damn near daily for 26 years. I have my strat and I shred the shit out of it and I'd love to get at least another player, a drummer, and a bass player to maybe rip some high speed blues/RnB/Hip Hop leaning type stuff but I really don't know where the hell it will go because one day I'll be like, "I wanna melt faces off like I'm Stevie freaking Ray", then the next day I'm listening to the most recent Cattle Decapitation album thinking that blast beats and goblin growls are where it's at. My point is, my musical tastes are all over the place and there isn't a genre I won't touch. But I kinda feel that it would be helpful if the people I played with also knew a thing or two about hip hop, jazz, and the blues. Just don't come at me with your idea of some prog electro screamo interpretive dance-core glam band. Let's keep it simple. I'm definitely more of a lead guitar player, so a rhythm player would be great. Someone who has their chords down so I can rip. Just wanna take all of this practice and put it to use.
