Established prog rock/ old school metal band potentially looking to add violin, viola and or cello to the sound. We are on a small label, make albums and do small international tours. Been doing this for 10 plus years under the same name. We have used violin, viola and cello on songs in the past, (by guest musicians in the studio), but might be interested in adding one of these instruments to our band permanently. Currently a 4 piece. Guitar, bass, drums and vox. As a 5 piece, we can perform all the harmonies and expand the sound onstage. We combine music like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Rush, Helloween, Candlemass, with a bit of 70's style prog rock. There are also bits of world music and even some jazzy moments. But it's mostly centered around 70/ 80's heavy metal. Must be able to tour and travel. O.k., thank you!
