Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday (8a-5p); rotating on-call Requirements: Minimum of 2-3 years direct experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician for an apartment community A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation is required for this position. Desire to provide exceptional customer service with every interaction Great communication skills along with displaying professionalism. You are comfortable bringing and using your own set of basic hand tools at work. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance in individual apartments, common areas and amenity areas Prepare vacant units for new move-ins, which may include the maintenance of the unit, painting, cleaning, HVAC maintenance/repairs Perform preventive maintenance, property upkeep and repairs Complete work orders and help to monitor and maintain the grounds Respond to On-Call Emergency in a timely manner As the Maintenance expert of your community, you will be responsible for: Completing work orders to maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and grounds. Keeping apartment and community buildings in a clean and orderly condition. Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems at a residential apartment community. HVAC maintenance. Maintain refrigerant log for A/C service and keep available for inspections. Maintain the safety and overall appearance and cleanliness of the property. On-call duty, including weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned · Background in carpentry, plumbing and electrical. · Experience as a handyman or with maintenance and repair. · Experience in the proper care and use of small hand tools and mechanical equipment. · Excellent customer service skills. · Strong problem-solving skills.
