Work outside and get in shape! Job Summary Part time: Two days a week: Tuesday/Thursday or flexible for the right applicant Starting pay based on experience. Position has the potential to make up to $24hr. Raises based on performance, responsibility, education, commitment, and competency. Crewman is responsible for regular grounds maintenance, project work, maintaining equipment, and various other small jobs as directed by the crew leader. Crewman reports directly to his/her crew leader or the foreman. Crewman responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Ability to get to work on time daily Ability to lift 75lbs. Operate power lawn equipment, such as, weedeaters, mowers, saws, hedgers. Learn pruning and trimming techniques of ornamental tropical plants and trees Become familiar with plant and pest identification Take initiative in work and time management on the job Have a good work ethic, eagerness to learn, and positive attitude Report directly to Crew leader. Experience in the industry is preferred, but not required. A good work ethic, willingness to learn, positive attitude, and dependability are just as valuable!
