Briefing for Japanese companies doing business in Battle Creek, Michigan
On Thursday, October 28, Battle Creek Unlimited (BCU) will host a briefing for Japanese companies in Battle Creek. The program will start at 3:30 PM and will conclude by 5:30 PM. The event will be held at BCU’s Conference Room, in the B Suite of the Customs Cargo Center and via Zoom. The purpose of the briefing is to provide Japanese company executives in Battle Creek an update on BCU’s activities over the past year and introduce them to key city leaders. Speakers will include Battle Creek Assistant City Manager Ted Dearing and BCU President & CEO Joe Sobieralski. Welcome remarks will be provided by Battle Creek Mayor Mark Behnke and Yusuke Shindo, Consul General of Japan in Detroit will deliver closing remarks. The event will conclude with Q&A followed by a brief networking period.
Due to COVID-19, in-person seating will be limited and all attendees will be asked to wear a face mask. Attendees will also be able to participate via Zoom.

Battle Creek Unlimited (BCU) serves as the business and economic development arm for the City of Battle Creek, Michigan. BCU was established in 1972 as a private, nonprofit corporation and is focused on building a strong community through strategic investment and job creation.
