Free Event - Join ERM staff and site adopter, the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches, for an evening under the stars. Free Event - Palm Beach County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management (ERM) will host an after-hours event at Pine Glades Natural Area in Jupiter with a sunset hike followed by stargazing. Members of the Astronomical Society of the Palm Beaches will set up telescopes and give attendees a “tour” of the night sky.  Stargazing will be preceded by a sunset hike led by ERM staff.  This event will give participants a unique opportunity to learn about the history of the land, the animals that live there, night sights and sounds, and urban sky glow. Visitors will be issued their own lens cover to use against the telescope eyepiece. Don't forget a face mask. There are no bathroom facilities at this site. Please bring your own water.
