If you have ever lived in a geographical location that experiences a snowy winter climate, you know that winter often means battling the inevitable colds & flu viruses (just to name a few) that come with it.
The good news? There are numerous different herbs & plant allies that can help to not only prevent illness via strengthening the immune system, but also treat the symptoms of some of these pesky ailments with great efficiency.
Whether you'd like a daily, long-term tonic to support immune functioning, or a stronger herbal blend to help kick the lasting remnants of a deep cough... this class will point you in the right direction!
We will deep dive into some herbs that have been used historically to stay healthy through the seasons, and we will also go over many different ways to consume these herbs so that you can find the way that works best for you and perhaps your entire family this winter.
*****Doors will open at 6:30 PM, but Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get situated.
-Dress comfortably (dress in layers in case you get cold easily)
-We will be sitting on backjack/meditation chairs for this event. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow or whatever you may need to be comfortable if floor chairs don't work for you. (we have some blankets, pillows, mats, and regular chairs but highly encourage you to bring your own)
-Bring a journal and writing utensil to take notes
-Bring a water bottle/beverage
