Dance like no one is watching (because no one will be) Come and participate in a free expression dance workshop that is coupled with blinding yourself with a blindfold and doing breathwork. Some may know this is as Trance Dance and this is a variation of that. By removing the external stimuli and distractions, this quickly turns into an internal process. People can experience profound, spiritual and/or psychedelic equivalent experiences by doing this practice. Other things that be experienced include creativity, transcendence of space and time, deeper connection, clarity, peace and a lot of other things. **Not recommended for those that experience anxiety or panic attacks. You can absolutely still come but there will be modifications to the type of breathwork that will be done. You will be led by the facilitator, Allan Kofman, who will guide you through the breathing and what the dancing looks like. In addition, Allan has created his own specific dance mix for this specific practice to help create specific connections and emotions. Enjoy the journey that'll include a whole variety of EDM and other genres with a emphasis on organic and tribal bass music. This will be your chance to dance like no one is watching because no one will be! This event will be at Rewild Yoga studio in Grandview. Besides being one of the coolest studios in Columbus, it's also a cozy and safe environment. IT IS A HEATED STUDIO (the heat rises from the floor) which mean you'll sweat but don't let that be a deterrent. Heat is a great activating force and this practice will be centered around activating different parts within you. Please bring: -Water -A yoga mat or something to lie on -A blindfold (bandana or anything you can tie around your head and cover your eyes) -Comfy clothes that you can sweat in -A journal and pen (optional) -a towel (optional) The actual practice will be around 1 hour 15 minutes. There are limited spots due to the space being able to hold a certain amount of people so be sure to grab your ticket! And please please please get a ticket if you know you can come.
