I have a senior male Dane that I’m going to be looking for the PERFECT home for. I am going to be very particular and he will not go to just anyone. He is roughly 7 years old. Not a fan of other dogs. Would definitely have to be a SLOW introduction with other dogs. He is such a lover but of course like most Danes doesn’t know personal space very well! He loves to go for walks, does great on a leash. Loves car rides (as long as he gets breaks to stretch cause he gets a little sore). He’s never been around cats so not too sure how that would go. He’s been around all ages of kids and doesn’t mind them one bit but I’d prefer him to be in a home with older children (he just forgets how big he is at times)! He is completely house trained, I never crate him! He really doesn’t have a bad habit about him, maybe just keep an eye on the trash can! He is so amazing. He is UTD on everything. One thing though, he is not fixed. At his age his vet has recommended that it not be done. He CANNOT be bred! (I shouldn’t have to add that to this post but some people seem to not know the basics of that). If you may be interested feel free to reach out to me so that we can talk!
