Join us to honor those who have served and learn how to use your military benefits for a new chapter at NOCHI.
Ron Green (Proprietor/Fire Starter, Pelican State Provisions) is teaming up with fellow military veterans and culinarians Justin Ferguson (BRQ) and Jeff Mattia (Pyre Provisions) for a special gumbo dinner that will honor those who have served while offering an introduction to New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI).
NOCHI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates a diverse community of learners to sustain an ever-evolving hospitality industry. The school's flagship program is a 100-day vocational-style certificate program in Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry Arts. As a VA-approved institution, NOCHI welcomes veterans and their dependents or spouses, who may be eligible for financial assistance for up to 100% tuition, plus a living stipend.
Come for the dinner. Stay for the community. Ask questions, get answers, and explore a new path. We look forward to meeting you!
