New York City is experiencing an uptick in certain crime indexes. Specifically, felony assaults are up 18.5% and robberies are up 6% from last year. Simple, effective self-defense protocols and techniques can increase your chances of avoiding and surviving the aforementioned crimes. My name is Alex and I’m a security professional with years of mixed martial arts training in addition to traditional martial arts. I also have certifications in self-defense and personal training. I’m offering at home self-defense training which includes: strategy, tactics, techniques, de-escalation, psychological conditioning and physical conditioning. These knowledge domains are all necessary in the successful implementation of increased probability of avoidance and survival from a criminal encounter. You will learn how to avoid and de-escalate risky situations if possible and if need be defend yourself with specific techniques conducive to legal self-defense found in the following martial arts: Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jujutsu (BJJ), Wrestling, Judo, Savate (French Kickboxing) and Karate. I’m offering one free at home training session to prospective students wishing to learn how to defend themselves in the privacy of their own home. I have all the necessary portable training gear needed for instruction.There are no obligations for any further sessions if the prospective student feels that my training program doesn’t fulfill their needs. You will still learn much from the free session and I hope that it provides you with effective use. I have limited slots available so it is a first-come-first-serve basis.
