Learn to play Mancala, a game traditionally played in Senegal, Mexico and the Philippines. Also enjoy pop-up performances. It is the mission of The International Marketplace Coalition to promote the revitalization of the Lafayette Square area by creating an environment conducive to attract and retain sustainable economic development for the benefit of this community, the city of Indianapolis and the region. The International Marketplace is a place where immigrants from cultures across the world have come together to create an environment unique to Indianapolis and even within a broader Midwestern region. By coming together, we are transforming the International Marketplace into a destination known for its ethnic retail and dining experiences.
