Deckhand and Labor jobs available in St. Louis Metro area (IL) and Herculaneum and Festus. Will need to pass DOT Physical, DOT Drug Screen, and an agility test. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Deckhand/Mate Positions on our tugboats (vessels) that provide fleeting and switching services in the St Louis Harbor and immediate surrounding areas only. Known as “Lunch Bucket Boats.” – No live on Vessels. Our employees aid in the transportation of cargo and goods shipping via barges as they make their stops at barge fleets located in Hartford, Granite City, St. Louis, Herculaneum, and Festus Ports. Labor-Terminals This position is expected to assist in all areas of the unloading, loading, and transferring of grain, fertilizer products and general cargo which may include but not be limited to barge, truck and rail operations, and sampling/testing of products received. Knowledge of safe & proper operation of all terminal equipment, which includes but is not limited to forklifts, conveyers, rigging, front end loaders, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
