Grundy Center Ambulance 2nd Annual EMS Trivia Night Come and earn three hours of EMS continuing education. Registration and check in start at 6:00 PM Free will donation meal starting at 6:30 PM Trivia starting at 7:00 PM Teams will be no more than 8 people, you may form your own teams in advance or teams will be assigned at registration. You do not need a team to attend, you can be added to a team at the registration table. Team names and/or team shirts are encouraged, but not required. Mulligans can be purchased for $1 per mulligan with a max of 10 mulligans per team. Prizes will be awarded for top teams. Preregistration in advance is strongly encouraged, but not required. Proceeds will benefit Grundy Center Ambulance EMS Auxiliary Account. EMS Trivia Night Rules 1. Teams will consist of no more than eight members. Please determine your team name and register your team at the registration table. 2. Assign a player to record your answers on the answer sheet and take them to the registration table after each round. 3. Familiarize yourself with the rules. 4. Put your cell phone away! You may have your cell phone on you, set to silent. If you must take a phone call, please step outside to the hallway. You may not reenter the meeting room until the round is finished. If you are found on your phone looking up answers you will be asked to leave. 5. No googling! You are not allowed to bring any material or look up answers. 6. Answers are found from the book Advanced EMT, a clinical reasoning approach, JEMS and other scholarly reliable medical resources. That being said, the answer is the final say. All answers will be at the discretion of the Trivia Night Proctor. 7. Trivia consists of 10 rounds, 10 questions per round, 1 point for each question. 8. Correct spelling on the answer sheets is not always required; however, the judges must be able to recognize your answers. 9. Each question has only one correct answer. Submitting more than one answer or general descriptions will be scored as incorrect. 10. Neatly print your answers. Use the pencil provided on your table in case you have to erase. 11. Answer sheets must be turned into the judges table during the time allotted at the end of each round. 12. You may not change answers after you turn your answer sheet in. 13. Correct answers will be announced at the end of each round. 14. If you feel your team’s score is incorrect; notify the judges table as soon as possible 15. In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker question between all tied tables will be used to determine the winner. 16. Mulligans may be purchased for $1 per Mulligan (proceeds go to Grundy Center Ambulance EMS Auxiliary Account). Max is 10 "Mulligans" per team. You may use one "Mulligan" per category. A "Mulligan" is a sticker you may place next to an answer that ensures that you get that question right. 17. HAVE FUN!
