Pack the car with the whole family and join Edwardsville CEO for a double feature movie night at Edwardsville High School on November 19th! Edwardsville CEO presents: A Cozy Car Christmas A special THANK YOU to our main event sponsor: Dan Marsh, Edward Jones Financial Advisor Holiday season approaches along with an opportunity for you and your loved ones to enjoy some Christmas classics from the warm comfort of your car! A double feature showing Home Alone and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation will be played during the event. Alongside the films we will also have food vendors, contests, and other goodies! We want each and every one of our community members to have a cozy Christmas, pets included! This event is proudly in collaboration with Partners for Pets. Bring a donated item to help a pet in need and have your name entered into a drawing for a gift card to a local business! See below for more details. Edwardsville CEO is a non-profit and community-funded program designed to utilize partnerships that provide an overview of business development and processes for 20 high school seniors from Edwardsville High School, Father McGivney Catholic High School, and Metro-East Lutheran High School. A Cozy Car Christmas is a class business endeavor conceived, planned and executed entirely by Edwardsville CEO students. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the program and students. DATE FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19th, 2021 Rain-out date: Saturday, November 20th, 2021Read all details regarding our rain out policy under 'INCLEMENT WEATHER' TIMING 5:00 p.m. - Parking lot opens6:00 p.m. - Home Alone (PG) begins (Running time, 1hr 43 min)INTERMISSION: Subjective to the night of (roughly 15-20 minutes)After Intermission: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (PG-13) begins (Running time, 1hr 37min)A note about arrival time...No cars will be admitted to the parking lot before 5:00 p.m. All sections are “first come, first serve." TICKET INFO Please reference the event parking lot map to see the location of each sectionParking for each section is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. For example, if you purchase a PLATINUM ticket, your ticket will reserve you a spot in rows 2 or 3. Which spot you park in depends on the time you arrive the night of the event. Parking will only be permitted in spots listed on the provided map. Ticket purchase covers admission for ONE vehicle. There is no limit for the number of guests in each car. Prices listed do not include Eventbrite processing fees. Please note: row 1 (7 spots) is reserved seating for our top event sponsors.UPON ENTRY TO THE PARKING LOT, ALL TICKET HOLDERS WILL RECEIVE A GOODIE BAG WITH COMPLIMENTARY POPCORN AND WATER! PLATINUM - $150 Premium parking in rows 2 & 3 CAR SIDE FOOD DELIVERY: A CEO student will bring your food to your car after your order is placed so you do not have to wait in line to receive your items!Additional goodie bag itemsAvailable spots: 30GOLD - $100 Premium parking in rows 4 & 5 Additional goodie bag itemsAvailable spots: 30SILVER - $60 Parking in rows 6, 7, 8 & 9Available spots: 56 BRONZE - $50 Parking in row 10Available spots: 15 GENERAL INFORMATION Restrooms: Several Econ-O-Johns will be available. Absolutely NO ALCOHOL, drugs, or tobacco will be allowed on site.Chairs and blankets are allowed, but you must set up in close proximity to your car.Entrance to Edwardsville High School or exterior buildings will not be permitted.Guests are asked to dispose of all trash at the designated trash stations at the end of the evening. Small trash bags will be provided to each car. Updates in event info will be communicated to ticket holders via email as well as on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages. No re-entrance to the parking lot will be permitted after leaving. Sound will be played through speakers and available to stream through your car's FM radio.INCLEMENT WEATHER & REFUND POLICY Edwardsville CEO will be in close communication with their screen vendor. If rain and/or heavy wind is present, the event may be postponed or cancelled. This decision will be communicated via email as well as on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages. If inclement weather causes the 19th to be cancelled, a rain out date is scheduled for the following night (Saturday, November 20th). Ticket holders from the 19th can use their original ticket voucher to show up the following night at the same time to enjoy the exact same movies. If the 19th is cancelled due to inclement weather and ticket holders are not able to attend on the scheduled rain out date, guests may request a refund for their entire purchase (that includes the ticket price and the Eventbrite fees).Refunds due to a rescheduled/cancelled event will only be issued if the ticket holder makes a refund request. This request must be made within 24 hours of the cancelled event. Ticket holders cannot request a refund if the event has not been postponed or cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. PARTNERS FOR PETS Partners For Pets is a licensed, 501(c)3, no-kill animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Partners for Pets regularly visits animal control facilities and rescues animals that have used up their time, need medical care, and/or are too fragile for shelter life.
