STLBACL is thrilled to present the Grand Opening of Believe #6 at Pershing Elementary School in The School District of University City! On Saturday, November 13, 2021, 10:00am-12:00pm St. Louis Black Authors of Children’s Literature invite the public to a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of The Believe Project at Pershing Elementary School in The School District of University City, 6761 Bartmer 63130. Tour our 6th Believe literacy lab designed with lots of color and cultural intention to spark children’s curiosities, confidences, and a love for books! Our mission is to ensure all children become confident and competent readers by the end of third grade. This is an in-person and masks are required. The Believe #6 literacy lab is sponsored through the generosity of The Opportunity Trust, Nine PBS, Ready Readers, and Noble Neighbor.
