Gather & Give is an event that features a winter coat distribution and Thanksgiving holiday meal for local people in need. Gather & Give 2020 will offer individually packaged Thanksgiving meals to-go and a safe, socially distanced winter coat distribution. This event is made possible by the generosity and kindness of our community members who help fundraise, organize, and execute our vision. We're going back to our roots. This year's distribution will be hosted at the Washington City Mission, the original home of Gather & Give. We're excited to offer dine-in options for residents of the City Mission and meals-to-go for the community-at-large.As usual, we'll need your help cooking a fresh meal the day of the event. We'll also need assistance organizing the coat inventory and assisting guests as they choose the perfect coat.Your safety and the safety of our guests is our priority. We are planning a safe, socially distanced event.We expect all volunteers and attendees to wear masks when working alongside others.We are evaluating options for open-air distribution to help further promote safety.Help us make a difference!
