Callie Trautmiller, a Wisconsin author, will give presentations pertaining to her book, BECOMING AMERICAN on Thursday, November 4, 7:00 PM at Sweet Temptations. Ms. Trautmiller states: while most people know about the atrocities of World War II, few are aware of the thousands of Americans sent to internment camps because of their heritage. She goes on to say that the more she researched the heroism of the 100th Infantry Battalion & 442nd Regiment, many who were Japanese American, the more she felt compelled to write the book, BECOMING AMERICAN.
