WILMINGTON, MA — With a month remaining in the "Reading Rivals" competition, Wilmington and Tewksbury's public libraries are separated by just three minutes, according to the Wilmington Memorial Library. The two towns are almost two weeks into the challenge, which began Oct. 12, and each have logged over 100,000 minutes. Tewksbury holds a narrow lead, up 111,244 to 111,241. Like this article? The competition will continue until Nov. 24, after which the "Reading Cup" will be awarded to the town that logged more minutes. Residents of each town can register on Beanstack to read for their library: Tewksbury or Wilmington. You can log hours spent reading on Beanstack.
