BROOKLYN, NY — A person was killed Monday morning when they stepped in front of a train at Carroll Street station, according to police and transit officials. The person was hit just after 9 a.m. at the Brooklyn station, according to MTA alerts. An NYPD spokesperson confirmed at 11 a.m. that the person, who they said stepped in front of the train, had died. The incident stalled G and F trains while emergency teams responded to the station, officials said. The trains were back up and running by 10:25 a.m., but officials said straphangers should still expect delays while they get back on schedule.
