GREENFIELD, WI — Greenfield earned a spot on a list of the Best Small Cities in America last week. A few cities from Wisconsin made the WalletHub list and Greenfield came in among the top 50 percent of the best small cities to live in.
The study compared cities that had a population between 25,000 and 100,000. Rankings were put together with 43 different liveability factors such as housing costs, quality of school districts, household incomes, unemployment rates and other quality of life measures.
Greenfield came in at the 52nd percentile with 58.6 points. The city that ranked highest on the list, Sammamish, Washington, received 72.55 points. Across its grade, Greenfield ranked the best in affordability, safety and quality of life.
Greenfield's ranking puts it among the top 48 percent of cities when it comes to the best small city to live in. Wisconsin cities didn't quite reach into the top ten for WalletHub's ranking; Massachusetts took the cake for that.
